Inbox: Everything You Need to Know About the New Version

This article provides detailed information about the latest update to the Inbox module.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

1️⃣ Inbox

When you open the module, you land directly in your inbox.

You can:

  • Search for emails using keywords in the search bar

  • Filter by open tickets or tickets assigned to you

  • Sort by most recently flagged emails or latest activity in the Inbox

👉 Overview of available indicators:

  • Email subject line

  • Number of times the email has been flagged

  • Tags applied to the email

  • Time since the email was flagged (minutes, hours, or days ago)

  • Blue dot: a blue dot appears when the email has not yet been processed

  • Empty or checked icon: a blue checkmark appears when the email has been processed ("marked as")

2️⃣ Understanding Email Analysis

Clicking on the email preview opens the flagged message.

Example #1

This email has already been processed and marked as fraudulent.

Example #2

This email has not yet been processed, and an AI-generated pre-label is visible.

You can view email headers by clicking the blue text and process the email via the “...” menu at the top right.

👀 From this menu, you can:

  • Modify how the email is handled (Mark as Safe, Spam, or Malicious)

  • Download the email in .eml format

  • Remove the email from the Inbox view

👉 Focus on "Mark as Fraudulent"

When AI analysis is enabled, emails marked as malicious are categorized under three threat types:

  • Employee impersonation

  • Partner payment fraud

  • Service spoofing

If AI analysis is disabled (Settings > Threat Analysis), the email will simply be marked as malicious without a threat type categorization.

3️⃣ Processing Options & Available Details

The right-hand panel displays detailed information about the email's processing status.

Details

Shows which employee(s) flagged the email.

Activity

You can track the full history of the email’s processing—a valuable tool for secondary review or simply tracking its progress since it was flagged by the employee.

You’ll also see any comments left by the employee when they reported the email.

4️⃣ Insights

Easily visualize key data extracted from the processing of flagged emails:

  • Time period view: data updates automatically based on the selected time range

  • Open tickets: number of unprocessed tickets

  • Usage: percentage of employees who used the “Report Phishing” button and/or the forwarding email feature during the selected period

  • Report accuracy: percentage of employee-reported emails that were actually identified as threats (and marked as malicious either by an admin or by AI)

  • Threat breakdown: percentage breakdown of threat types for emails marked as fraudulent
