1️⃣ What is Phishing Reporter?
The Phishing Reporter add-in is a reporting button located directly in your Gmail inbox, designed to simplify the reporting of fraudulent emails.
2️⃣ How do I set it up?
Installation is done via the Inbox onboarding process. In step 2, click on "Install extension" :
You will be redirected to the Google Workspace Marketplace, where you can deploy the application:
for your account only
for a group of users
or for the entire workspace
👍 Good to know: Deployment may take up to 24 hours.
3️⃣ Compatibility:
The app is compatible with:
Gmail on iOS (excluding iPad)
Gmail on Android
Gmail via web browser
💡 Bonus tip: During step 3 of the Inbox onboarding process, remember to inform your teams to maximise adoption of the button.
You can also send this message later from the Inbox settings.
Automatic reminders are also available via Albert to encourage inactive users to use the button.
