Why don't line breaks in my comments on Inbox don't appear in the email?

This article explains why line breaks inserted in your comments don't appear the same way in the email sent to your collaborator.

👉 When you write a comment on Riot, line breaks and all formatting are not preserved when the email is sent to your collaborator.

The text therefore appears as a continuous block for the recipient, which can make reading less smooth if you write a long comment. This behavior is in line with Riot's current design.

👉 For better readability, we recommend structuring your comments directly without relying on line breaks:

- Use shorter and more direct sentences

- Highlight important elements at the beginning of sentences

- Keep the context clear so your collaborator understands quickly
