When you move your employees from one Riot workspace to another — reorganisation, merging entities, change of scope — their awareness progress can be carried over to the new workspace, rather than starting from scratch.
⚠️ Important: this carry-over is only possible on workspaces running the due-date programme with Karma Score. It is not available on workspaces that have moved to Cyber Missions.
1️⃣ What you need to prepare
Three conditions must be met before we can step in.
👉 The employees must exist in both workspaces
The carry-over transfers progress: it doesn't create the profiles. So you first need to synchronise your employees into the destination workspace, for example through your Microsoft or Google directory.
👉 The programme must be paused before that synchronisation
⚠️ Don't miss this: pause the awareness programme on the destination workspace before synchronising your employees into it. Without that, the freshly created profiles start a new course cycle and receive notifications for nothing, since their progress will be overwritten by the carry-over anyway.

👉 You need the mapping of email addresses
We need the list of your employees' primary email addresses in the source workspace, along with the matching primary address in the destination workspace. That mapping is what lets us attach each set of progress to the right profile.
2️⃣ How to start the carry-over
The carry-over is performed by our team. Contact us via the chat, providing:
the ID of the source workspace;
the ID of the destination workspace;
a
.csvor.xlsfile with two columns: the old address and the new one.
👍 Good to know: if the three conditions above are met, the operation is quick. It is the preparation that takes time, not the carry-over itself.
