Introduction
Once a Studio course has been created (from a link, a PDF file, a prompt, or from scratch), you’re free to edit and customize it.
This allows you to tailor the course to your specific needs whether by adding educational elements, adjusting the tone, or highlighting a key message.

1️⃣ What can you edit?
You can enrich or modify the generated content by:
Adding a question and its answers
Expanding or rephrasing existing answers
Adding a quiz to assess understanding
Adjusting the tone (more formal, more engaging, etc.)
Changing the format (bold, italics, lists, etc.)
2️⃣ How to edit content
Select the course and, from the dropdown menu, click Edit course.
👉 Method 1: Manually
Go to the Build tab.
Directly modify the text and formatting according to your preferences.
👉 Method 2: Using a prompt
Go to the Preview tab.
Enter your instructions in the dedicated field (examples: “Switch the text to formal address instead of informal” or “Add a step about the sanction received by the CEO following the Target data breach”).
You can target specific questions or answers to modify, or apply changes to the entire content.
The course is then automatically updated according to your instructions.
👌 It is now possible to remix certain Riot courses by clicking on the course and then on the "…":
This option can be useful if you need to add elements specific to your own way of working, or additional details tailored to a particular audience.
If you don’t see the remix option, it means that the course is not yet eligible for remixing!
3️⃣ Customising the author and the recipient
Beyond the text itself, two settings make a Studio course feel far more personal.
👉 Choosing the course author
A course's messages can be attributed to someone other than Albert. You have two options:
a character from Albert's world, if you want to vary the tone without stepping outside the usual framing;
a real person from your company — the CISO, a member of the leadership team, a subject-matter lead.
📈 Why this is useful: a compliance course signed by the person who owns it internally lands better than one signed by an assistant. It is the same logic as sending reminders on behalf of the IT Manager rather than on behalf of Albert.
👉 Inserting dynamic variables
You can insert elements into your text that fill in automatically for each employee, in particular their manager's name and the company leader's name.
This is especially relevant on courses covering CEO fraud: the employee sees the real name of the person an attacker could impersonate, rather than an abstract example.
💡 Prerequisite: the "manager's name" variable only fills in if the manager is set in your directory and synchronised with Riot.
4️⃣ How to check translations
Click on English > Proofread translations.
Then select the language tab you want to review.
You can manually correct or customize the translated content for each language generated, based on your audience’s languages.
