The answer depends on the type of reminder, and on how your workspace operates.
👉 On a due-date programme
The follow-ups sent before a course is overdue are native to Riot: they aren't configurable.
The reminders about overdue courses, on the other hand, are fully configurable: you can enable them, disable them and choose their frequency from the Awareness module settings.
The details are described in Understanding course reminder notifications.
👉 In Cyber Mission mode
The reminders above no longer exist. Your employees receive a notification when their mission starts, then follow-ups capped at 3 per month — 6 if leaderboards are enabled — with at least 4 days between two.
These follow-ups can be disabled for your whole workspace through Settings -> Cyber Mission. If you can't find this setting in your own settings, send us a request via the chat.
👍 Good to know: if your goal is to reduce how often employees are contacted without switching everything off, start by disabling leaderboards in Cyber Mission: that brings the cap down from 6 to 3 follow-ups per month.
